what is fiber art?

Fiber art refers to fine art whose material consists of natural or synthetic fiber and other components, such as fabric or yarn. It focuses on the materials and on the manual labour on the part of the artist as part of the works' significance, and prioritizes aesthetic value over utility.

Students will enjoy week to week projects in 3 hour classes once per week for 6 weeks. This course is for ages 6 and Up. Class size is VERY limited and students will be social distanced.

Your child will have fun creating projects from weaving with a handmade loom, making dream catchers, Knitting, crocheting, felting and much much more!!

We are excited to teach your child all things fiber as we create and play!

This course starts on Monday August 31st and will be from 1-4 PM every Monday for six weeks.
